Memo, stock balancing and no minimums: how a small jeweler can carry lab-grown without tying up cash
Three terms from Aaryam's trade program, explained for the independent jeweler: memo, stock balancing and the absence of a minimum order.

The independent jeweler's problem with lab-grown is rarely demand. Customers ask for it. The problem is cash: a showcase of lab-grown diamond bracelets, bands and rings is real money sitting under glass, and a small store cannot afford to guess wrong about which designs will move. Three parts of how we sell are designed for exactly that store.
No minimum order
There is no minimum with Aaryam. You can open an account and order one tennis bracelet from New York stock to test how it sells in your market, then order the next one when it does. Because we are the manufacturer and the stock is ours, a single-piece order costs us nothing extra to fulfil, and it ships the same day when confirmed before 1 pm Eastern, by insured FedEx, like any other.
Memo
Memo, or consignment, is offered to approved trade accounts. Pieces sit in your showcase and you pay for what sells. It is the right tool for a design you believe in but have not sold before, for a bridal event weekend, or for a customer who wants to see three bracelet widths side by side before choosing. The terms are agreed when your account is opened.
Stock balancing
Even with good buying, some designs sit. Stock balancing lets you exchange slow pieces for ones that move, and we agree it case by case with each account rather than publishing a formula, because a store in a resort town and a store in a city suburb do not sit on the same things. Ask, and we will work it out with you.
Made to order fills the gaps
None of this requires you to hold every size and colour. Hold what sells in 14kt from our New York stock, and let made to order cover the rest: any design in 10kt, 14kt, 18kt, yellow, white or rose, in 3–4 weeks. Custom work set in New York takes 4–7 days.
What you see before you commit
An approved account opens the full catalog online, with the gross weight and diamond carats of every design, so you know what you are buying before the line sheet arrives.
